Does God Answer Our Prayers?

KNITTING HEARTS CAFE / OCT 10, 2015

Message given by Susan Crosson,

Picture of DreamAlthough our state has been through so much this past week, many gathered today for Knitting Hearts. The praise team led us to focus on the majesty of God and “Christ Alone, Our Cornerstone.” Shelika Daniel’s praise dance focused our eyes on Him reminding each one of us that “He Has his Hands on You.”

Susan Crosson shared three dreams that God gave her over a period of time. Her theme verses reminded us that wisdom builds a house and through understanding it is established. During a difficult time in her life, she asked God to give her dreams to comfort her grief over the death of her ex-husband. He did that through two specific dreams that took place in individual rooms. Jim is in both of these dreams. The second dream covered her with reassurance and left her with incredible comfort. In 2012 she had another dream, but she had not asked for this dream. It, too, took place in a room, and Jim was there as well. Looking out of the window of a very simple room, she could see the heavenly city with streets of gold and the lampstands. This dream enlightened her to the wonder of Heaven and eventually gave her abundant peace that saturated her spirit and ministered to the depths of her being. In each of her dreams, God reinforced the message with specific visuals. The vision of the heavenly city was enhanced through the symbolism of architecture in a Greek Orthodox church on Sumter and Main Street in Columbia, S.C. Her dreams reminded her that her Father’s house has many rooms, and Christ is preparing a place for her and us.

God breathed upon our group today in a mighty way as others shared testimonies of powerful messages given to them in dreams. Powerful prayer broke out as people gathered in small groups to pray for each other and specific needs. The circle of prayer at the end left the breath of Heaven upon us. Each one left encouraged. We were invigorated by the presence of God and the power of His manifest Spirit. We were standing on shouting ground where the glory was coming down; it felt like Heaven.
