What We Believe

The Trinity – We believe that there is only One God and He exists in three persons, God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.

God – God the Father is the creator and sustainer of all things. He created man in His own image for fellowship and called man back to Himself through Christ after the rebellion and fall of man.

Jesus – Jesus Christ is eternally God. He was together with the Father and the Holy Spirit from the beginning, and through Him all things were made. (John 1).

Holy Spirit – The Holy Spirit is God, the Lord and giver of life, who was active in the Old Testament and given to the Church in fullness at Pentecost. He indwells every believer from the moment of salvation. The baptism of the Holy Spirit releases the fullness of the Spirit and is evident by the fruit and gifts of the Holy Spirit.

Scripture – We believe that ALL scripture is God-breathed. (2 Timothy 3:16) The Bible is the only infallible, inspired Word of God. The authority of the Word is final; it can not be added to, subtracted from, or superseded in any way. (Revelation 22:19)

Atonement – Christ’s sacrificial death on the cross paid the full penalty for all the sins of the whole world. The benefits of having sin forgiven are only applicable to those who have received Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior. (Hebrews 9:22, 1 John 1:7-9)
