Hearts United Women’s Ministries, (formerly Knitting Hearts) was birthed out of a home prayer group of women; each with a deep desire to learn to pray together. In 2004, God birthed a vision for a community-wide, inter-denominational ministry that would reach beyond denominational, social, and racial barriers.
We began meeting in homes for fellowship, encouragement, and a teaching from the Bible. By 2008 a larger place was needed. We thank the Lord for Reverend Al Sims, pastor of Bethesda Church of God, as he embraced the vision and graciously offered their facilities for our gatherings. We are so thankful to Pastor Sims for his love and support in allowing us to meet at Bethesda through the years.
