Dr. Peter Wyns
Written by Sue Sanders
January 13, 2018
A large group of individuals met today to begin the New Year with a great celebration of dance, music, and an anointed message from Dr. Peter Wyns. After Joyce Sanders opened the meeting with prayer, the flag team, led by Dalana Barnette, danced to a majestic song with a tribal sound. They declared to every tribe, every tongue, and every nation that Immanuel shall come, and the battle belongs to the Lord. Joyce Sanders shared the proclamation for this year from Psalm 78:4. “We will tell the next generation about the glorious deeds of the Lord, about His power and His mighty wonders.” The mandate decrees that this is the year to stand strong and proclaim. “So, my dear brothers and sisters, be strong and immovable. Always work enthusiastically for the Lord, for you know that nothing you do for the Lord is ever useless” (1 Corinthians 15:58, NLT).
Linda Campbell made announcements concerning the nursery and the prayer requests. She explained that every prayer request that is placed in the box is prayed over. Gail Timmons shared that next month’s speaker is Adrian Renee. Joyce mentioned, Proclamations for Life, a powerful book by Peter Wyns that has declarations from God’s Word for each day.
Elizabeth Wyns and her praise and worship team led the group to lift praises to the Lord. We began by praising His holy name, lifting His name on high and giving Him glory. Praise continued as we sang the words of a doxology, “Praise God from whom all blessings flow. Praise Him all creatures here below.” This song flowed into the declaration that He was the Word at the beginning, one with God, the Lord Most High. We exalted His beautiful, wonderful, powerful name.
Dr. Wyns explained his heritage and emphasized that he is a New Testament Levitical priest. He shared the significance of the United States’s partnership with Israel and the moving of the capitol to Jerusalem. He is convinced that revival is coming to the United States.
There are three reformations. The first was the Protestant Reformation; the second is beginning now. The third one occurs when Jesus returns. For the Holy Spirit Reformation in 2018, it is important that we acknowledge the Holy Spirit. There are seven points: 1. We must be connected with Israel. The church has to embrace God’s purpose for Israel. 2. Apostolic reformation and acceptance of five-fold ministry. 3. Understanding of the church. 4. Mobilizing God’s people so that they all become workers and ministers of the Gospel. 5. Holy Spirit reformation—every church must embrace the power of the Holy Spirit. 6. End-time understanding of Revelations. 7. The church has to get back into the world, taking over the entertainment, the media, the universities, etc.
Dr. Wyns said, “Jesus is taking over. Don’t be a wish I had person. Go on and do it.”
The reformation that needs to take place now is father/mother reformation. Dr. Wyns quotes Malachi 4 that talks about a day that is coming. Verse 2 says, “ But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in His wings; and ye shall go forth, and grow up as calves of the stall.” Verse 5 explains that God will send Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the Lord. Dr. Wyns emphasized the significance of verse 6: “And He shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to the fathers. . .” The church is full of an orphan spirit.
Abraham saw Melchizedek as the high priest of God and gave him a tithe. Jesus was from the order of Melchizedek. Enoch walked with God. Methuselah was the son of Enoch, the father of Lamech, and the grandfather of Noah. Noah had three sons, and Shem was the middle child. He was a blessed and holy man. He could have sat at the feet of Methusaleh. Only eight people went onto the ark. Shem was 100 years old when he went into the ark. However, he spent 100 years with Methusaleh. Shem lived 500 years after the flood, so Abraham gets impartation from Shem.
Today there is a lack of fathering/mothering in this generation. We must have father/mother anointing.
In Ephesians 4 we find two things that Jesus did:
A. He filled whole world with Himself.
B. He gave gifts to men.
Why do we need apostolic reformation? Apostles unite people who are different.
Dr. Wyns prayed a prayer over the entire group before praying for each individual who desired impartation.
He told us to take off our shoes because God is going to give us new shoes, ones that are four sizes too big. We are His servants. At first we will be real clumsy walking in these shoes, but all of us have to become senior leaders. We need big feet and also elephant ears to hear God.
The meeting ended with Fernanda Capps singing a song that she wrote about the great I Am, Emmanuel. Then, Dr. Wyns prayed over those in the prayer line.
