Women of Valor

KNITTING HEARTS MINISTRY PRESENTS

Women and a few men and children gathered today with great anticipation, enjoyed a light breakfast, and then feasted on the manna sent from Heaven through His divine instruments. The flag team danced to the worship song, “Let It Rain,” and implored God to open the floodgates of Heaven and let it rain. The song declared that the Lord reigns. It reminded God that we all came for a reason: We wanted to see His power and His glory. We wanted to see Him move in our generation.

After Joyce Sanders welcomed everyone and opened in prayer, Tiffany, a missionary to a 99 percent Muslim country, shared how God is working in this country. Although her team plants churches, the platform they use to witness and minister is agricultural. She encouraged us to pray. She also needs faithful supporters who will give a monthly financial gift.

Shelica Daniels danced so beautifully declaring that God created us to worship, not to worry or fear. Her movements and the words of the song became acts of surrender: I bow before the King of Kings. I surrender. I believe Your Word is true. I will trust in You.

Elizabeth Enns and her team ministered to the Lord as they led us in praise and worship to our God. We implored the Lord to breathe on us because we come alive when He breathes on us. We carried our petition farther crying, “Awake my soul. Resurrect these bones. Speak to me, Word of God. I come alive when You speak to me.” We proclaimed through song that there is no other name but the name of Jesus, and He is worthy of glory, honor, power, and all praise. We told the Lord, “We come to worship at Your feet.”

Terrance McDow prophesied saying that he felt the heavens and atmosphere were filled with ladders. Each one of them had a title, and we just had to reach up and claim the answer to our specific needs. We were asked to grab them in faith, pull ourselves, and climb up. They were ladders representing things people needed to escape or move to like climb to fulfillment, escape poverty, gain understanding, or receive healing. Gail Timmons shared about seeing big flames and angelic hosts fanning the flame.

Elizabeth Enns began her message talking about the changing roles of women. For many years women had no power or authority, and in some countries today women are still not valued. The sexual revolution brought about some good changes for women; however, the extremists have caused the pendulum to swing to the left field and out of control. Also, many women today are tense, frustrated, and completely burned out because they have so many demands on their lives. God desires us to be mighty women of valor who have His greatness and are strong and courageous.

Isaiah 61 is our mandate. The Spirit of the Living Lord is to be on us. It starts with knowing Him and centers on faith. The Lord speaks, and we must recognize His voice, step out, walk in obedience, and stand on His promises. We must be rooted and grounded in the Word of God. God created each one of us for a purpose, and we must be active participants in His plans for us. We must push back the works of darkness and further the kingdom of God.

Elizabeth used three different analogies. The first picture is a grandmother figure with boots and a sniper rifle. The boots are for traveling the distance with endurance. The sniper rifle is strategic and illustrates the call on this person to be an intercessor. The grandmother picture speaks to each of us encouraging us to listen for the Lord’s marching orders and the specific strategies He wants us to use as intercessors. As we follow God’s orders, then we follow them with faith proclaiming the Word of God over the people and situations that the Lord has highlighted.

The second figure is a young mom, a nurturer. She is setting fire to dry fields. She has a sphere of influence and uses it to fight back the works of darkness. Everything must bow to God and His fire. Darkness flees. Now the field is ready for the seed to be planted. We must be cautious about the seeds. God’s seeds will bear fruit when they are sown on fertile soil.

The last image is the hip mom who connects well with her children and their friends. She feeds on the Word of God and imparts it to others. She makes sure that her children and those she ministers to are dressed properly. She puts on them the armor of God.

The remainder of her message focused on Isaiah 61.

  1. “The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon Me, because the LORD has anointed Me to preach good tidings to the poor;” Elizabeth mentioned a message by Derek Prince, “Divine Exchange.” The punished are released, the wounded are healed, the sinner becomes full of righteousness, the dead receive life, the poor get abundance, those full of shame have glory, and the rejected are accepted.
  2. He comes to bind the broken-hearted and love them. These women are pushing back darkness but yet rising up and imparting light so that the Kingdom of God advances.
  3. To proclaim liberty to captives,
  4. And the opening of the prison to those who are bound;
  5. To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD,
  6. And the day of vengeance of our God;
  7. To comfort all who mourn,
  8. To console those who mourn in Zion, (The people of God need to take care of their own and become the hands and feet of Jesus.)
  9. To give them beauty for ashes—bestowing a crown of beauty on them instead of ashes,
  10. The oil of joy for mourning,
  11. The garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; (Elizabeth mentioned difficult days, times of intense struggles. Yet, if she begins to sing and worship, the presence of the LORD washes over her.)
  12. That they may be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that He may be glorified.”
  13. And they shall rebuild the old ruins,–“We must rebuild, restore what is lost, and renew our strength, sisters. We must have the Spirit of the LORD to help us.”

Elizabeth reiterated the mandate: We, as women of God, must stand up, link arms, and march on.

Elizabeth ended her lesson with singing a song that she and her husband have written about a new sound—a new sound that is rising in the East. She declared that the LORD is bringing forth a new sound as we link arms, walk in unity, and push back darkness and walk as women of God. It is a Holy Spirit sound.

Elizabeth and her team members prayed for individuals as they came forward requesting prayer. Our souls awoke.

God resurrected our bones. God breathed into our souls. The Word of God spoke to us. We came alive.
