Grace abounded today in every aspect of the gathering from the opening announcements to the final blessing over the women and men. Deborah Tallent’s extraordinary testimony exalted the Father who is ultimately in control and works through the hearts of his people. Deborah had no idea when Shelika Daniels danced last month that the song would minister to the depths of her being. After the dance Shelika testified of the enormous pain that she had been battling and the temptation that Saturday to call Joyce and tell her she could not dance. At the end of Knitting Hearts, Deborah spoke to Shelika sharing how she had blessed her, and then Deborah went with a friend to a restaurant. However, she was unaware of what was happening and even her surroundings. She and her friend went back to Betheseda, and a number of individuals prayed for her. Deborah recalls seeing a number of angels with lifted arms praying for her. She was oblivious to the fact that she was having a heart attack. When the paramedics arrived, they called the helicopter, and she was taken to Richland Heart Institute. She had heart surgery, but she walked out two days later.

Dalana Barnett, leader of the dance worship team, shared the signficance of the ministry and explained that it is a fragrance before the Lord. The team danced to “We Cry Out to Dry Bones, Come Alive.”

Surrendered, a drama team from Lake City, encouraged us to have compassionate, caring hearts as they performed the drama “Help Me.” “The Narrow Road” called us to walk with the Lord, to build up rewards to lay at His feet, and to bring others to come along on the narrow road. Their final drama, “America,” visualized the shifting culture of our nation and the traumas that now define it. It cried out for God to arise, and our enemies to be scattered.

Our praise and worship team focused on the message of the Gospel declaring that Jesus is at the center of it all and nothing else will satisfy. We acknowledged that Jesus is the cup that won’t run dry, and His presence is Heaven to us. Then we sang of our good, good Father who is perfect in all of His ways to us.

Diana Menzing introduced the speaker because she and her husband have been involved with Patricia Frost and her family’s ministry for over twenty years. The Shiloh Place Ministries is an international ministry that has been committed to ministering to families for twenty-five years. Patricia and her children continued the ministry after the death of her husband. She feels compelled to help people find their destinies. Before beginning her message, she spoke prophetic words over several individuals. She longs for people to feel valued. So many feel abandoned, and they are just hungry for someone to care. Her focus for today’s sessions was “You Are Not Forgettable.” So many have a religious picture of Christ. Today’s image of God is shifting. She believes that He is not only holy and perfect, but He is also happy. She stated, “I want to live alive; I am done living dead.” God created us to be happy. Our response to pain and woundedness keeps us bound, but EVERYTHING is redeemable.

She displayed a picture on the screen and instructed us to identify what we saw. Some of us saw a hag while others saw a beautiful lady. If we listen to lies long enough, they become realities in our lives. She told the story of her husband’s salvation. He went out on the water that particular day planning to end his life, but instead God broke through His pain and saved him. Jack did not change overnight, but later God used Jack Winter to speak specifically to his heart. Jack asked the question of the audience, “Has your father ever blessed you?” Jack’s blessing brought healing to their family and ministry. Patricia emphasized how one person’s saying yes can have a boomerang effect. As a result of the blessing, Jack was filled with love, and this love manifested itself in their ministry. She believes, “Love is a gift, not a reward.”

We are headed to the realm of being untamed. The dictionary defines untamed the following ways: “in a natural state, unbroken; back to original form; not altered, treated, or disguised; state of where you are not broken.”

Father God designed each one of us uniquely, and we need to work out the greatness that He put inside of each one of us.

She used Scripture from Malachi to emphasize the need to activate our destinies and the destinies of others. She spoke specifically about the needs of girls and women. Girls need comfort, gifts, leaders, attention (being thought about), and chocolate. She explained, “It is all about what we believe about ourselves. Jesus is the best gift. The Holy Spirit is the God of all comfort.” We need to find out what shuts us down and consequently shuts down our identities. We need to be leaders, influencers of people, because God ordained that we are unforgettable. A key issue in our society is abandonment. We need to bless and not curse and to intentionally bless the uniqueness that God created in each one of us.

Our imaginations are a part of our brains and designed by God. Isaiah 26:3 states: “You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on you: because he trusts in you.” God is able to keep all aspects of our beings in perfect peace. Psalm 139 tells us that Father God has many thoughts about us. Love thinks no evil. He can’t think evil thoughts about us.

Patricia led us to activate the imaginative part of our brains. She reminded us that women set the tone of love and the atmosphere in their homes. We can activate the creative, or we can control. Control is rooted in fear.

Patricia shared Deuteronomy 31:7-9, instructions that Moses gave to Joshua, the leader who would replace him and bring the Israelites into the Promised Land. Moses wanted Joshua to live out his destiny, to go forth courageously, and to remember that God would never abandon him or leave him. God Himself gave Joshua the promise in Joshua 1:5: “No one will be able to oppose you successfully as long as you live. I will be with you as I was with Moses. I will never neglect you or abandon you.” Joshua had to let go and walk into the fullness of his destiny. In order to do this, he had to also embrace change.

Mothers are nurturers. Patricia suggested that some of us needed to forgive our fathers. Fathers give significance to their children. The absentee or negligent father leaves many of us with orphan spirits. We believe that we have to perform to have value. On the other hand, we want a father like the one in Lion King, who snatched Simba from Scarface.

Patricia reminded us that we are more than what we have presently become. We need people who will mentor and call out what is inside of each one of us. We need to do the same for others.

Patricia ended this session by giving each person a carnation. Symbolically the carnation says, “I will remember you forever.” We reminded the enemy of who He is not and what we are. She played a Nat King Cole song, “Unforgettable,” and led us in making declarations.

Guests enjoyed a soup and salad luncheon prepared by the hospitality team that included a variety of luscious deserts.

The afternoon session began with Shelika Daniels sharing a praise dance rendition of “I Have Never Lost My Praise.” Patricia shared stories to emphasize her messages from the morning session. We need to spend time with the Lord, face to face with Him. Then our faces will draw others to God. We need to keep our standards high in love. Love is a gift. You don’t have to perform for me anymore. You will become what you believe. She emphasized that we need a mother’s blessing. We also need to take responsibility for what we say and how we say it. If we know our identities, we will flow in them.

Haggai 1:14 tells us that the LORD stirred up the spirit of Zerrubbabel and the spirit of the whole remnant of the people so that they came and began to work on the house of the LORD Almighty, their God. Stir up means to arouse, awake, to excite, to raise up or incite. Our eyes should be shooting light, not darts. We need to stop listening to lies and embrace truth. It is Revival or Survival. We either stir things up or we endure. God will cause us to take risks. If we focus on what we can’t do, we will never do what we should. We must incite a riot within ourselves and live life excitedly.

Patricia said, “When Jack died, I had to stir things up inside of me. I had lived in his shadow. I broke agreement with the lies spoken over me.” We need to ask the LORD for words and then let those words break the lies, the negative words that have been spoken over us.

Patricia talked about seeking a word from the LORD. She went to California thinking that Bill Johnson or his wife would speak over her. Ten days later she still had no word. When she allowed the students to speak over her, she got a word. She declared, “God gets to choose the vessel, not you.” The word was, “The Lord sees you as a mother elephant. “ When she studied the elephant, she realized that the mother elephant stomps the ground until water comes out so that she can give water to her babies. Patricia said, “I was thirsty for more of God.”

She went to Rawling, North Carolina, and Katherine enlightened her further. “The Lord sees you as a big bull—so tenacious that you never give up.

At a physicians’ gathering, a speaker talked about the orphan mindset. This time she received the word that the Lord saw her as a big horse. The person said that the Lord was re-shoeing her because she had been trying to fill her husband’s shoes. Psalm 39:4-5 tells us how fleeting our lives are, and that our lives are only a vapor. Vapor means a fantastic idea. She had us pray, “Help me to know that I am a fantastic idea.”

She spoke to Mark instructing him, “Put adventure back in your venture; move forward and be willing to take risks. If you will take risks, you will get more than you expected.”

She further instructed us, “Let go of your fears. Position yourselves to change. Something is asleep inside of you if you refuse to change. I want to become everything He says about me. I want my life to be unexplainable.”

Destiny needs to be awakened inside of us. The fear of man is the greatest hindrance. Then we begin to live our lives as dead. She reiterated, “It is either revival or survival.”

She ended the session with a special communion using a symbolic chocolate wafer. We broke agreement with lies and fears and anything keeping us from our destinies
