Experiencing the Joy and Wonder of the Spirit Led Life

Written by Sue Sanders

Recently when Diane was praying for me, in her mind’s eye she saw a beautiful, strong deer drinking from a refreshing stream. She advised me to do some research about deer to understand the symbolism.  The author of Pure Spirit website suggests that the deer symbolizes “the gentle, enticing lure of new adventures.”  She advises each person to follow his or her gut reactions as a deer follows his or her instincts as when to fight or flee.  Ted Andrews draws insight from the regeneration process that deer experience for five straight years as they shed their antlers each year and then they are regrown.  He encourages readers to look for new perceptions and degrees of perceptions to grow and expand for as long as the next five years.

The Holy Spirit wants to lead us into an adventurous life full of endless opportunities. He wants to give us “new perceptions and degrees of perceptions to grow and expand” but not just for the next five years.  This adventure with God is endless as the Holy Spirit sharpens our senses to know Him and His calling on our lives.  Knitting Hearts’ Ministry has seen amazing expansions of the vision for the group.  The boundaries have fallen to involve so many other ministries.  Individuals from diverse backgrounds, various races, and different denominational groups gather to hear from God and worship the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

As deer express great individuality, we are reminded that our team is made up of individuals with various personalities, gifts, and callings.   One is not better than the other; however, each one is important for the work of the ministry.

The Holy Spirit is wooing us, luring us to experience the joy and wonder of a relationship with Him. Join us in the New Year on the best adventure of your life.

Lisa’s Tidbits of Truth

  • Every problem we have as believers has a promise attached to it. Graham Cook And I might add to it…Find it and stand in it with HIM.
  • Thank you Father, that You put sweetness on our lips and this increases learning for those around us. Prov.16:21 (People will listen when they know they are loved and cared about.) Prayer by Lisa Salyards
  • Thank You Lord, that You guide us continually. You satisfy our souls in times of drought and strengthen our bones. We are like well watered gardens and springs of water whose waters do not fail. Isa.58:11
  • Stepping Stones…I don’t allow the stones in your lives to crush you. Step on them My children and come up onto higher ground where you are destined to be. The Lord spoke this to me this morning and I love to share with you.
  • Thank You JESUS, that we come to You with all of our burdens and You give us rest. We take Your yoke upon us and learn of You. For You are gentle and lowly in heart and we find rest for our souls. Your yoke is easy and Your burdens are light because You are the ONE WHO shoulders the load as we walk with You. Matt 11:28-30
  • Sometimes when we go into those deep waters with Him, it gets scary, and we begin to sink. But HE is faithful to take our hand and says to us “Look at ME.Hold onto ME My Child. ” I’m right here holding your hand. You will not sink!” Pour out my dear brothers and sisters, and He will pour into you, faith once again. And you will not sink.
  • Thank You Father, that You cause us to let all of our words of Jesus Christ, in all their richness, live in our hearts and make us wise. We use them to teach and counsel. We sing songs to You with thankful hearts. And whatever we do or say, we let it represent our Lord Jesus. Col 3:16-17
  • From my journal class called Vision writers, I’d like to share something that God would say to all of us that He spoke to a woman named Terry Cook. But I will write it out to us as His children: My Children, you have died and been set free from sin. It cannot hold you in bondage anymore. If you feel held in it’s bondage , it is because you don’t realize you have been set free. A young elephant is held by a chain in captivity and cannot move beyond it’s length. The grown elephant is held by a rope and thinks he cannot break away. It is not the rope that holds him, but only what he thinks and believes. My Dear Ones, I desire that you experience the full freedom that I have given you. Not what I will give you, but what I have given you. Take on the mind of Christ fully and you will see the fullness of freedom that you have in ME.
  • Thank You Father that Your divine power has given us all things that pertain to life and godliness. And You have given us exceedingly great and precious promises, that through them ,we can partake of the divine nature, escaping the corruption that is in this world through lust. And to our faith You give us the power to add: virtue, (moral excellence), knowledge , self control, perseverance, brotherly kindness, and love., In these we will not be barren or unfruitful. 2 Peter 1:3-8
  • Thank You , Father, that even though Your throne is in Heaven, You turn Your face to pay attention to me. Psalm 11:7
  • Father, my flesh is tired and irritable this morning, BUT YOU ARE FULL OF LIGHT AND HAPPINESS.I will look at You. My body aches in pain, BUT YOU HAVE HEALINGIN YOUR HANDS. My flesh is weak in all areas and an emotional rollercoaster, BUT YOU ARE SO STRONG AND A PICTURE OF AWESOME STREGTH, AND YOU NEVER CHANGE. YOU BRING JOY IN THE MORNING WITH YOUR MERCIES FOR ME. OH GOD , YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL , while this body grows old. SO I WILL LOOK AT YOU TODAY, FOR YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL IN ALL YOUR BEING AND WAYS!

JOYCE”S SCRIPTURES AND THOUGHTS

  • The LOVE of God is AMAZING! “Higher than the mountains that I face. Stronger than the power of the grave. Constant through the trial and the change. One thing… Remains. Your love never fails, never gives up. Never runs out on me.
    • On and on and on and on it goes. It overwhelms and satisfies my soul. And I never, ever, have to be afraid. One thing remains. In death, In life, I’m confident and covered by the power of Your great love. My debt is paid, there’s nothing that can separate my heart from Your great love…” (Jesus Culture).
  • “And this is eternal life: [it means] to know (to perceive, recognize, become acquainted with, and understand) You, the only true and real God, and [likewise] to know Him, Jesus [as the] Christ (the Anointed One, the Messiah), Whom You have sent… But seek (aim at and strive after) first of all His kingdom and His righteousness (His way of doing and being right), and then all these things taken together will be given you besides.” (AMP, John 17:3, Matthew 6:33,).: 952-2
  • THE IMCOMPARABLE CHRIST!!! “For He rescued us from the domain of darkness, and transferred us to the kingdom of His beloved Son, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins. He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation. For by Him all things were created, both in the heavens and on earth, visible and invisible… All things have been created through Him and for Him. He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together… For it was the Father’s good pleasure for all the fullness to dwell in Him, and through Him to reconcile all things to Himself, having made peace through the blood of His cross; through Him, I say, whether things on earth or things in heaven” (Col. 1:13-20).
